Conformance target
NeuralFixIt targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We test with automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse), manual keyboard walkthroughs, and regular sessions with screen-reader users (VoiceOver on iOS/macOS, TalkBack on Android, and NVDA on Windows).
Built-in accessibility features
- All interactive elements are reachable by keyboard; focus is clearly visible with a 3 px outline.
- Colour contrast exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Dynamic type — text scales up to 200% without layout breakage.
- Every image has a descriptive alt attribute; decorative media is marked
aria-hidden. - Forms use native labels and inline error messages announced by screen readers.
- Reduced-motion preference (
prefers-reduced-motion) disables parallax, shimmer and auto-playing animations. - Touch targets on mobile are at least 44 × 44 px.
- Captions and transcripts on all product videos.
- Voice booking — you can dictate a job description in the iOS and Android apps.
Known limitations
- Our live map uses a third-party tile renderer that does not expose place labels to screen readers. We provide equivalent text descriptions beside every map.
- Real-time video calls do not yet offer live captions; captions arrive in Q3 2026.
