Emergencies
NeuralFixIt is not an emergency service. If there is a risk to life, gas leak, fire or flood, please call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number first.
For urgent jobs that are not life-threatening (active leak, broken lock, no heat in winter), select Emergency when booking — our 24/7 priority pros will reach you within 60 minutes in covered areas.
Booking a job
How does it work? Open the app or website, pick a category (plumbing, electrics, cleaning, etc.), describe the job, choose urgency and confirm. We match you with a vetted, insured professional nearby.
Can I see the price upfront? Yes — you receive a clear quote before any pro is dispatched. No surprise charges.
How do I cancel? Open the job in your Jobs tab and tap Cancel. Free cancellation up to 60 minutes before the booked slot; short-notice fees may apply for emergency bookings.
Payments, receipts & refunds
All payments are processed securely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). Funds are held in escrow and only released to your pro once the job is marked complete.
Tax invoices and receipts are available in the Billing section of your account, and are also emailed to you automatically.

Quality issues & disputes
If something wasn’t right, please raise a dispute within 7 days of job completion at /disputes/new (signed-in) or email safety@neuralfixit.net.
Every job is covered by our £2,000,000 platform Quality Guarantee in addition to your provider’s own public-liability insurance.
Account, privacy & data
You can update your profile, addresses and saved payment methods in your Account page.
